Get a Leg Up on Trendy Pants for Fall

Some trends are obvious. Fashion forward celebrities are wearing them, they’re all over the covers of fashion magazines, and you can’t turn on the TV without seeing them pop up. But others fly under the radar, and you don’t know they’re “in” until they’re gone. Then you either end up with same outfit as everyone else, or you miss out on something really great, just because you didn’t know about it.

It’s time to take some action on trends. Before you reach for the same old, same old outfit this autumn, get a leg up on the competition and grab a few pairs of the trendiest pants.

mom jeans

For starters, along with choker necklaces, flannel shirts, and biker jackets, there’s another ’90s trend that’s found its way back into the spotlight, and it’s more surprising than the return of overalls—mom jeans.

According to Allure writer, Kristen Bateman, the style is picking up steam as a fashion favourite. The magazine recently spotted Kendall Jenner, Lily-Rose Depp, and Rihanna all sporting the look.

“While it’s true that mom jeans give your backside an extra boost, the style is wholeheartedly retro and represents a change of pace from the same old skinny jeans we’ve been seeing for years,” wrote Bateman. “The high-waist effect of the jeans makes it instantly easier to play with proportions. A crop top and a long, lightweight jacket looks surprisingly more polished with mom jeans.”

leather pants

This one is definitely for the bold, but if you’re feeling daring, leather pants and can be an amazing addition to your wardrobe. They give any outfit an extra edge that really helps you stand out.

Olympia Valance just made news for her own head-turning pair of leather pants.
A post from Daily Mail
said the actress look incredible in a pair of skin-tight leather trousers, not to mention fairly sexy for an afternoon lunch.

Keep things classic with a simple top like Valance’s, and you can easily achieve a stylish, posh look. Just remember that these pants aren’t appropriate everywhere. Depending on your job, they might not be acceptable work attire, nor are they acceptable for formal events.

Cropped Pants

Now this is a trend you can wear anytime, anywhere. Cropped trousers are great for work, casual wear, and even some semi-formal events. They perfectly envelope a pretty, professional, and downright luxurious style.

You want the crop to end a few centimeters above your ankle, just enough to give your strappy sandals some room to breathe. Pair them with a fitted, or tucked-in, top and you’re good to go. You can even add a blazer for those extra “I’m here to take charge” kind of days.

There’s no time like the present. Get ahead of the curve this year, and add a few pairs of these trendy pants to your collection.
