Following on from 5 of the best winter moisturisers, I have decided to also write about 5 of the best mineral foundations. I personally prefer mineral foundation because it has a lighter texture, it does not cake my skin or pores, and it provides excellent coverage. The minerals actually treat the skin, so as well as an excellent foundation, your skin is being helped to look its best and is able to breathe. Check them out below!
Bare Minerals Original SPF 15 Mineral Foundation 8g – £25
This comes in 20 shades to match and suit every skin tone. It is applied with a brush and gives a wonderful coverage that is flawless. Medium Beige seems to be the most popular shade. It is a weightless foundation with build-able colour, simply apply several layers for a more full coverage. You can also use a small brush and spot touch up on areas of more concern, such as blemishes, dark circles or areas that are more red in colour and you wish to tone down.

The Loose Mineral Foundation comes in 9 shades from Extra Light to Dark Deep. It gives you a build-able natural coverage and brushes on for a smooth radiant look. It also helps skin stay nourished and healthy.
