The Zimmermann Fall Winter 2014 Ready To Wear collection made its debut at New York Fashion Week. The idea of ‘something for everyone’ was taken into consideration by designers Nicky and Simone Zimmermann. They were inspired by Beatniks and Teddy Girls, showing more boyish suits on the models and giving them slicked back hair with bow ties around their necks to add to the masculine vibe.
I adored the structured shapes on the skirts and dresses, they were really interesting and beautiful in a way that I am not used to seeing. The only piece that I don’t think would be so practical is the heavily studded jumpsuit as it actually slid down the models body while walking, so you can tell it’s quite heavy! There were definitely some amazing dresses and outerwear pieces though, I loved the pale jade shade of green they used! Do you like the new Fall Winter 2014 RTW Zimmermann collection?
