I recently shared with you the new women’s Edwin Autumn Winter 2013 look book, but I wanted to showcase the men’s collection as well. They always have some really intricate and cleverly detailed pieces, which I think are worth sharing.
Edwin’s new Autumn Winter 2013 collection incorporates bold patterns, new denim washes and a seasonal colour palette, while still retaining a selection of popular classics made of fine fabrics. Maintaining at its core, the deep Indigo denim true to Edwin’s DNA, juxtaposed with texture and patterns evoking the hue and feel of an ever-changing autumn to winter landscape.
Introducing four new washes from the renowned Italian laundry Martelli. The washes named G1-G4 reproduce the wear and wash patterns of a pair of raw denim jeans. Ranging from 3 months wear with no wash to 18 months wear, 10 washes and light hand repair. Available in the ED55 and ED80 using the 63 Rainbow Selvage denim as its base.
The 55 Utility is a new pant modelled on the shape of the signature 55 chino featuring exposed back pocket rivets, reinforced front belt loops and is available in a 13oz white listed, black-black denim, Japanese Cerulean denim and French Mariner plain weave twill.
The Outerwear selection has clearly been defined this season with the Map Coat at the forefront of the collection. New construction processes provide the opportunity to work with high quality technical English fabrics including taped seams, underarm laser cut vents and contrasting bonding.
The Autumn / Winter Collection is rounded off beautifully with a hand crafted, three-piece indigo suit made of Japanese yarn dyed camouflage twill. Its classically tailored blazer and gilet paired with the 55 chino create a surprising yet fitting camo print ensemble. You can see the look book in full at their website by clicking here.
