Antony Morato SS14 Gold, Silver and Black Collections

For the upcoming SS14 Season, Antony Morato will be unveiling 3 new lines which are Gold, Silver and Black. For the Gold collection, they will focus on denim with a vintage touch and will feature St.Tropez and Metropolis themes. This Metropolis Collection presents every day pieces such as relaxed chinos and lightweight pixilated and vintage jacquard shirting. The colour palette used within the Metropolis category is reflective of the forthcoming SS14 seasonal trends of powder blue and soft grey tones, while their footwear is shown in a selection of burnished leather grey brogues, casual suede high tops and distressed ankle boots.

The St. Tropez line takes its inspiration from St Tropez in the 60’s with its carefree mood and creates a chic look to take to the beach in natural, fresh cotton fabrics featuring rope details and nautical stripes. They have stonewashed denim which features red stitched pocket detailing in a variety of relaxed fits. The blazers and lightweight jackets are represented in a vibrant coral, surely a head turner!

The Silver line is inspired by the Sports Luxe trend, featuring classic colours such as navy blue, red and grey with silver trimmings, which exaggerate a silhouette enhanced by embossed logos and silver print branding. Some notable stand out pieces are close woven zipped hoodies and drawstring bottoms, combined with delicate cotton tees. Completing the look with classic Seventies-inspired sneakers.

For the BLACK line it is Antony Morato’s premium collection which has two main themes.

Pulp Fiction & God Save The Queen

Firstly the BLACK collection makes a tribute to the film director Quentin Tarrantino, black suits teamed with crisp, slim fitted white shirting and slim ties reminiscent of the iconic Pulp Fiction look and of course Reservoir Dogs. Other staple pieces such as the leather biker jackets and slim silhouette blazers make a noticeable appearance in a vibrant Kill Bill yellow.

The other main focus to the BLACK Collection is a military look whilst adding a hint of sophistication. Key features include close-woven cotton fabrics such as blend linen cloth, gabardine and satin, enriched by metal buttons, braids and squared pads detailing.

Mixing hooded and military jackets with cargo and chino trousers with print tees for a understated preppy look.
