The next shoe I’m featuring in my Shoepernova series is the brand new Nicholas Kirkwood Ruffle Back Green and Blue Striped Pumps. I was instantly attracted to these shoes as soon as I saw them, I thought they were really striking and unique!
These new Nicholas Kirkwood Ruffle Back pumps are made from a combination of suede, fabric and metal, the metal being the chrome heel which is about 4.5 inches in height. The navy stripes are made from suede while the lime green stripes are made from a satin like fabric. I think these shoes would be gorgeous without the ruffle, but the black ruffle on the back is really what makes them intriguing. They would look amazing paired with a beautiful dress for an evening out or even with skinny jeans for the day time!
