Vera Wang Ready To Wear Spring 2014 – Fashion Week

Here is the brand new Spring/Summer 2014 Ready To Wear collection from Vera Wang which walked during New York Fashion Week last week. Vera stayed away from the popular monochrome colour palette that was showing up in most designers collections and opted for jewel tones! She featured an array of rich reds, blues and yellows, mixed with a lot of black. I would say this Vera Wang collection was very primary in terms of colour. I really liked how bold it was and inventive.

I usually find Spring/Summer collections to be quite pastel, light and airy, but Vera strayed away from that and I feel like this would be more suitable for an Autumn season, but I really enjoy it when designers don’t conform to the norm. After all, they go with their own inspirations and ideas, so it only makes sense for them to do it how they want. What do you think of the new Vera Wang collection? Do you like it?
