Transitions has launched a new collaboration with Independent frames Designer brand Face-à-Face. The new Bocca styles have been inspired by the legendary Dali’s ‘Mae West’ sofa, others by Yves Saint Laurent’s smoking.
Face-à-Face has long been known in the optical industry for its original and atypical designs. Since the founding of the company in 1995, the collection has enjoyed enormous success on the export market, and today has a distribution network covering over 50 countries. Impressive isn’t it?
Transitions lenses are high-tech prescription lenses that are designed to adapt to changing light: clear indoors, dark outdoors. Beyond visual acuity, they allow to seamlessly go from low light to bright sun light and everything in between, and enjoy an enhanced vision every day. They are available in several reputable opticians across London and the UK with a starting price point for the collaboration at £250.
The styles are definitely quite quirky and have an original design aesthetic. I think the heel details on the side of the frames are really unique and interesting. I also think it’s cool how the lenses are adaptive and they change when exposed to UV light! Great eye protection!
