Here is the new Versace Fall Winter 2014 Ready To Wear collection from Milan Fashion Week. Usually known for her over the top embellishments and prints, Donatella Versace toned this collection down! “I focused on proportion and cut rather than embellishment,” she mentioned about the collection. Don’t get me wrong, the collection is not neutral and dull in the slightest, but it was definitely a more sophisticated and glamorous approach to Versace.
Long sleeved dresses in silky jewel tones, crochet inspired leather boots, evening gowns, military button jackets, silk suits and oversized capes and coats were what made up this collection. Some of the dresses had some well placed slashes to enhance the sexiness, but everything felt very proportional and sleek. In my opinion it was a great Fall Winter 2014 collection for Versace! I loved the new styling and fits, especially with asymmetrical hems and colour blocking! Check out the looks in the gallery below!
