Tommy Hilfiger Fall Winter 2014 Ready To Wear – New York Fashion Week

Another collection that I fell completely in love with was the new Tommy Hilfiger Fall Winter 2014 Ready To Wear Collection. It walked during New York Fashion Week a couple of days ago and was so bright and fun, you could almost mistake it for his Spring line if it wasn’t for the heavy layering. I adore the fact that he designs clothes for women who like to be outdoors and incorporates a great sense of wear-ability in his looks. I could wear so many of these pieces straight from the runway and be happy about it! Especially the entire look above! Isn’t it pretty?

Last season for the Tommy Hilfiger Spring Summer 2014 collection, he covered the runway in sand and turned it into a lovely beach scene, but for this collection, the set looked stunning as they transformed Park Avenue Armory into a rustic winter setting with mountains coated in fake snow, adorable little ski lodges and even a wooden-plank path which was used as the runway. It looked beautiful and definitely made a perfect setting for the clothes! There was so much colour that you couldn’t not enjoy the show and smile. A lot of designers have been using plaid for their Fall Winter 2014 collections and so did Tommy, however he reinvented his take on the trend and made his pieces multicoloured. I love the oversize shirts and skirts with this print, they are so quirky! For his outerwear, I would say that he was inspired by mountain climbers and lumberjacks as he had some great takes on their vests and jackets as well as some beautiful boots. One of my favourite things though was the pom pom beanies! Who doesn’t love a bobble hat in Winter? I couldn’t forget the jeans either, it’s another Tommy Hilfiger trademark and I’m so glad he includes them! What do you think of the collection?
