3.1 Phillip Lim Fall Winter 2014 Ready To Wear – New York Fashion Week

Here is the brand new 3.1 Phillip Lim Fall Winter 2014 Ready To Wear collection from New York Fashion Week. The new season was entitled “Soleil – a fun and culturally curious woman. Her world is somewhere between instant pop and culture.” and I think Philip definitely pulled that off!

It was a very eclectic collection in terms of colours and fabrics, there was a whole mix of everything and I think that’s really important as it means there will be something for everyone. Philip designed some very exaggerated garments in terms of fits and proportions as well, giving his take on classics. There were lots of pastel tones to begin with, which is very unusual for a cooler weather collection, but then it drifted into jewel tones and darker prints. I think this whole collection is fantastic and I love the playful takes on colour blocking and mixed media! I do love 3.1 Phillip Lim! What do you think of the new collection? You can buy the current line online at Shopbop.com.
